Double Chin Surgeries, Contouring, and Eye treatments seem to be on the rise, post lockdown. Highlighting the behavior patterns on individuals during Covid, Dr. Simal Soin said, “People are used to looking a certain way and they want to continue looking the same even during Covid. So, once the lockdown was lifted people rushed to get their botox, lip surgeries and other essentials done.”
Underlining the precautions for skin treatment, Dr. Shraddha Deshpande said, “More emphasis today is laid on the concept “less is more” or even less invasive surgeries which clearly tell us about the changing behavioral patterns of people, in general.”
Adding to this, Dr. Manoj Johar, said, “There are two distinct categories of people that came to us post the lockdown. The happy and not so happy people. The happy people are the more positive people who have looked within themselves during lockdown and their transformations have been radical and productive. The not so happy people have been stressed and have come back with general and specific problems like stress syndromes.”
Talking about the aesthetics and dermatology industry growth, Dr. Rinky Kapoor said that people are still keen to get their hair transplants and almost 80% of the aesthetics work is now back to normal. When proper safety protocols are put in force, and experts are there, people are happy to undergo laser treatments, skin treatments, under eye treatments, anti-ageing treatments.”
Speaking on this Dr. Gurjot Marwah, said, “Requirements have changed, and we have a lot of clients asking for double chin and eye treatments now. This is due to the constant use of laptops and mobile screens wherein one views himself/herself during the webinars and zoom calls and wants to enhance their looks a certain way. ”
Talking about client awareness, Dr. Aditi Bajaj said, “Clients have become a lot more aware and people want to find solutions that are long lasting. They are looking for quick sculpting and less contact treatments. People have reconstructed their mind and have grown excessively conscious of their body all the while treating it as a temple.
Dr. Stuti Khare Shukla, another esteemed panelist emphasized on the increase in laser and hair transplant treatments these days, and said, “The demand of laser procedures and anti-ageing treatments is increasing day by day, and people are very happy getting all these treatments. Self aware individuals are not waiting for anything and are constantly looking forward on booking appointments and undergoing treatments for transformation.”
